Bucks Bin Boutique – Terms & Conditions

1. Service Overview

Bucks Bin Boutique provides professional wheelie bin cleaning services to residential and commercial customers. Services include the cleaning, sanitising, and deodorising of standard household wheelie bins unless otherwise stated.

2. Access to Bins

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring bins are left accessible on the agreed service day and empty, unless prior agreement has been made.
  • If a bin contains bagged waste that must be removed to allow effective cleaning, Bucks Bin Boutique may remove and replace the waste at its discretion. We accept no responsibility for damage to waste bags during removal or replacement.
  • Small amounts of general waste or recycling may be taken away and disposed of at our discretion.
  • If bins are not accessible or cannot be cleaned due to their contents, Bucks Bin Boutique reserves the right to skip the service, and the full service charge may still apply.

3. Service Schedule

  • Cleaning is carried out according to the schedule agreed at the time of booking (one-off or recurring).
  • Scheduled service dates are subject to change where bin collection dates are altered, including bank holidays, council schedule changes, or other local authority adjustments.
  • Service dates may also change due to weather conditions, vehicle breakdowns, or other unforeseen circumstances. Customers will be notified where possible.

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment is required in advance or on the day of the scheduled clean, unless a Direct Debit arrangement has been set up.
  • Where Direct Debit is in place, payments will be collected automatically in line with the agreed schedule.
  • Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of booking.
Minimum Clean Commitment: By signing up to our service, customers accept these Terms & Conditions and agree to a minimum of six (6) cleans per bin, except in the case of one-off cleans.
First Clean Surcharge (Early Cancellation): The first clean is provided at a discounted introductory rate. If the service is cancelled before six (6) cleans have been completed, a £6.50 first clean surcharge per bin will become payable.
Direct Debit Authorisation: By setting up a recurring service and/or a Direct Debit, the customer authorises Bucks Bin Boutique to collect payments for all scheduled ongoing cleans until the service is cancelled in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.

Late Payments

A £2 late payment charge will be added for every 30 days an outstanding balance remains unpaid. Future cleans may be temporarily paused until the account is brought up to date. Continued non-payment may result in cancellation of services, and where applicable, the first clean surcharge will apply.

5. Recurring Service & Cancellation

  • Unless otherwise stated, all services are provided on a recurring basis.
  • The service will continue automatically at the agreed frequency until the customer notifies Bucks Bin Boutique of cancellation.
  • Customers must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a clean. Late cancellations may still be charged in full.
  • Cancellation requests must be made in writing. If the minimum clean commitment has not been met, the first clean surcharge will apply.

6. Change of Address

Services are provided per property, not per customer. If a customer moves address before completing the minimum six (6) cleans, the minimum clean requirement will reset at the new address. Any prepaid clean credits may be transferred to the new address at our discretion, subject to availability, service area coverage, and reasonable notice. Moves outside our service area will be treated as a cancellation of service, and the first clean surcharge may apply if the minimum clean requirement has not been met.

7. Bin Condition

Bucks Bin Boutique is not responsible for pre-existing damage, including cracks, broken lids, or faulty wheels. We reserve the right to refuse service on bins that are structurally unsafe or excessively contaminated.

8. Health & Safety

Bins must not contain hazardous materials, paint, solvents, toxic substances, or sharp objects. If such items are present, the service may be refused without refund.

9. Satisfaction Guarantee & Service Issues

We take pride in our service and aim to deliver consistently high standards. If a customer believes a clean was not carried out, or was not carried out to a satisfactory standard, this must be reported to Bucks Bin Boutique in writing within 24 hours of the scheduled service date. Reports must include sufficient detail to allow investigation. If no written notification is received within this timeframe, the service will be deemed to have been completed satisfactorily, and payment will be collected as scheduled, including via Direct Debit. Where a valid issue is reported within the required timeframe, Bucks Bin Boutique may, at its discretion, offer a re-clean or other appropriate remedy. Refunds are not guaranteed.

10. Liability

Bucks Bin Boutique accepts no liability for indirect or consequential losses. Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided.

11. Data Protection

Customer information is handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws and will not be shared with third parties except where required by law.

12. Changes to Terms

Bucks Bin Boutique reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most current version will apply to all ongoing and future services.
